Websites built by someone who actually builds websites.
20 years building websites for a living. AI where it speeds things up, hand-built where it counts. Straightforward sites and online shops for small businesses, priced for small businesses.
No agency layers, and nobody handing your job to a junior.
I have spent my career building software inside other people's companies. The Digital Don is the version of that without the layers: you speak to the person writing the code, and the price you're quoted is the price you pay.
Most small businesses get sold a rebuild every couple of years when what they wanted was a quick, clear site that was set up properly the first time.
Three steps from first email to a site that's yours.
You tell me what you need
Tell me what you like, what you don't like and what you want to achieve. A few sentences by email is plenty to start.
I quote one fair, fixed price
One number, itemised, agreed before any work begins. It is priced for a small business, and the hours it takes me are my problem rather than yours.
The site is yours
Tested properly and launched, with the domain and hosting in your name. Yours outright, and I'll never hold it hostage.
Pick the job that sounds like yours.
The figures below are where each job starts. Whatever we agree after that is fixed before any work begins.
Brochure & small business sites
A quick, clear site that explains what you do and makes it easy to book you. Built to current standards, with search engines in mind from the start.
Online shops
Stock, shipping and payments set up so the shop actually works, and you can be taking orders within days.
Support & fixes
If you have inherited a site that is slow, broken or looked after by someone who has gone quiet, I will take it over and sort it out.
The things people ask before they get in touch.
Anything not covered here, just ask. A short email gets a straight answer.
How long does a site take?
A small business site is usually two to three weeks from the point I have your content. Shops take longer, depending on how many products and how tidy the data is.
What do you need from me?
Words and images for each page, your logo if you have one, and someone who can answer questions within a day or two. If the copy isn't written yet, I'll tell you what each page needs.
What if I want changes after launch?
Small tweaks in the first month are included. After that it's hourly, quoted up front, and you're never obliged to come back to me for them.
Who owns the domain and hosting?
You do, in your own accounts, in your name. I'll set them up with you rather than putting them under mine.
Do you do ongoing maintenance?
Optional. Some clients want updates and monitoring handled monthly, others prefer to call when something needs doing. Both are fine.
Tell me what you're after.
A short message with what you need and a rough idea of timing is enough to get started. I'll come back with a quote.
